About Dr. Dayne Nelson
Dayne Nelson, MD is a board-certified urologist and urology surgeon at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital who was awarded the prestigious “Young Urologist of the Year”
award by the American Urological Association. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his medical doctorate from the Uniformed Services University. He completed his residency at Madigan Army Medical Center
and specializes in minimally invasive and robotic surgery and has been the director
of three different robotics programs.
Dr. Nelson uses clear communication, patient advocacy, and doctor accessibility as
the main pillars in forming strong relationships with his patients. His goal is to
provide advanced and skilled urological surgery and care as part of trusting and compassionate relationships with patients. His believes that a surgeon and patient
need to work together to accomplish a desired goal. He see his principal role as providing the patient with accurate information about their diagnosis and care options.
On a personal note
Outside of the office, Dr. Nelson enjoys spending time with his wife and four children hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, and attending sporting and performance arts events and concerts. He is an avid fan of all things Fighting Irish.
