Robert F. Smith, MD, FACS is a board-certified urologist and urology surgeon at Porter Adventist Hospital and Parker Adventist Hospital. He completed his medical education at the University of Iowa College of Medicine before completing a urology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Dr. Smith works collaboratively with his patients to determine the best plan for their condition and circumstances. He strives to educate his patients, explain their situation, and answer all their questions as clearly as he can. With the patient’s understanding established, he works as a partner with them to determine an appropriate course of care.

Dr. Smith treats general urologic conditions including prostate enlargement, kidney stones, urine control problems, urinary infections and vasectomies. He also has specialized training in treating urinary incontinence with sacral neuromodulation.
